A little surprised on how tiny this heifer was. I don’t think she was 35 lbs. Most are close to 70 lbs.
Moved her and mama to the barn to keep an eye on them. Mama’s milk wasn’t in yet and little heifer was just so tiny. G pampered her a couple of days to give her a strong start while we waited on mama’s milk to come in. Little heifer refused to take the bottle from Andy- wanted G. Little stinker.
She is nursing mama now and both are doing well!
