You want a puppy.

Please contact us by phone @ 573-680-7120 if you are interested in a puppy. We would love to speak with you!

We introduce puppies via FaceTime or Zoom for serious new families.

Puppy prices range from $1200-$3600 depending on the litter and if breeding rights are approved. For a wonderful family pet, please expect $1200-$2200. Deposits are required, but we can discuss that when we talk.

You are getting a puppy!

Once a deposit is taken, we must meet via FaceTime or Zoom for you to choose your puppy! You deserve to know that your puppy is doing well and is oh so very real (so many scammers out there!). All other weekends in-between choosing and when the puppy is 8 weeks we will send photos and/or videos. We know that it is hard to wait and we want you to see your puppy once a week until he/she is 8 wks old.

There will be a contract that you will be required to read & sign. We want to make sure that our puppies go to homes that care as much as we do.

To be mindful with our time and resources, we meet in Jefferson City, MO. We can sometimes meet you further away, such as the Springfield, MO or St. Louis airports for an additional fee of $150. We want to help you out- it just depends on timing!

Health, travel home, & food.

HEALTH & VET: We focus on making sure that your puppy is happy and healthy. We give them the appropriate deworming treatments & vaccines for their age.

We deworm at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. We also give Neopar at 4 weeks, a Bordetella vaccination at 5 & 7 weeks, and a 5-way vaccination at 6 & 8 weeks. All of your puppy’s health information will come neatly packaged up to make sharing records with your vet easy. We also have our vet give each a look over and complete a health paper.

We suggest that you make a puppy appointment with your vet within 72 hours of receiving your new pup. NO SHOTS ARE TO BE GIVEN AT THIS APPOINTMENT. This is only a check-up and a good time for you and your vet to plan for the rest of the required vaccinations. Your vet will most likely suggest the next round of vaccinations and rabies at 12 weeks of age.

IMPORTANT- Please carry your puppy into the vet appointments! There are sick animals at the vet and you mustn’t expose your puppy to anything until they are fully vaccinated.

TRAVEL HOME: Did you know that parvovirus can live in soil for 9 years? Yep- that is scary. Your puppy will not be fully vaccinated until they are older with vet visits that you arrange. You have to protect them. Please do not let your puppy touch or visit gas station grass, rest stops, pet store floors, shopping carts, dog parks, hotels, or anywhere else dogs have been known to use the restroom. Make sure any dog they come in contact is fully vaccinated. It is just too large a risk to show off your puppy too. Make keeping them safe the priority.

If you need to stop and let your pup stretch their legs, do so in a bank parking lot, hospital parking lot, or anywhere dogs don’t usually go.

Sometimes puppies get belly aches or stressed when traveling. When that happens it may help to give them a spoonful of plain yogurt mixed in with their puppy food. This will encourage eating and provide healthy probiotics. This helps when they are puppies or adults!

FOOD: We feed all of our dogs and puppies Diamond food. We have never had issues! We can find it at most farm stores and I think you can get it through Chewy too.

Puppies: We feed puppies under 1 year of age puppy food twice a day. Amounts will depend on their age and individual needs. Start with 1 cup each feeding. At one year we start mixing puppy food with adult food over 4 weeks.

Adults: At a year old we switch to feeding once a day. Generally, after 1 year of age, a female is eating 2 1/2 cups/day and male 3 cups/day. There is a lot of research that shows once a day feeding makes dogs healthier and happier (and maybe smarter).
